Man, oh man! Am I glad we passed this place today. My dad and I were just taking a drive around. He was showing me some old historical sites in Jersey, and he said "oh wait before we go home you have to try this place." So we pulled up to a little shack on the corner of the road kind of in the middle of nowhere lol. I asked him what we were doing here, and he told me these have some of the best cheese sticks in New Jersey. And let me tell you... He was not wrong! I cannot believe I did didn't know about this place! But I'll say one thing... I'm telling everyone I know. Just an out of the park delicious cheesesteak. They offer a lot more things, but this is what we got for the day. Just a regular cheesecake with American cheese, fried onions, and some marinara sauce. And they were really quick with the order! Great service! You absolutely have to try it.

Used to Live in Salem back in 1992. Worked at Midatlantic Shipping and would order lunch there often. Best subs I've ever had and miss them. Loved the hot peppers and would love to know where I could get them. Living back in Northern Maine.

Best local subs and cheese steak! Family owned! Really great service. Order and take out! It's a hidden gem.

Great cheesesteak, this had a lot of meat on it and was not skimpy like most other places.

This is a very dangerous place if you think that you know the best steak sandwich place is already located. IGNORANCE IS CERTAINLY NOT BLISS ladies, gentlemen and children of all ages! If you are a foodie or the average hungry man or woman in the street you will delight in the experience to be had at Seagraves. This is not just a cut above what you have been raving about for many years of your life, but seriously it will shake your perception of just what you've been consuming in the way of a steak sandwich. I now live 9000 miles from Salem, NJ, probably there is no one further than I am from Seagraves as I am based in the Philippines. I am fortunate to have friends and family in nearby Philly and Princeton,NJ and get a "fix" when visiting. I'll drive west along the BlackHorse Pike from Atlantic City when I am trying to reclaim a fortune lost at Harrah's to consume what my mind and stomach have dictated to me as the best of the best! Seagraves faithful if on death row would ask their last meal be a cheesesteak sandwich from Seagraves delivery by Doordash!

What more can be said for Seagraves that hasn't already been said. This place is s landmark and it is in our own backyard. Super quality steak sandwiches and subs. The people that work there are off the charts wonderful. When people come visit us they ask about going to Seagraves. We make an order , pick up, everybody is happy. Huge huge portions. Tasty steak sandwiches.

Seagraves Salem New Jersey. I think Cheesesteak aficionados and historians need to add Seagraves to their cheesesteak bucket list. Ronnie is still cooking very good cheesesteaks in the building his dad built in the 1950s. The original shelves and the display where they Penny Candy used to live are still there. I liked my cheesesteak. The Dos Amigos had varying opinions. It's a very limited menu. I ordered Ronnie specials light marinara only because I overheard a local order it. Don't try and get a Seagraves cheesesteak in the summer because Ronnie is closed for the summer. Cool old place

This place is CASH ONLY, FYI! I've heard RAVE reviews about this tiny oasis of hoagie & cheesesteak goodness. I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't blown away, either. To set the scene: Seagraves is a tiny, white building in a commercial/industrial area, situated near the marches. The parking lot is small but perfectly adequate for the customer flow. The flow was constant, but the two people running the counter handled it with great ease. I ordered their Italian hoagie with everything on it (sweet hots, onion, oil, etc). The size options are huge & enormous, so it's a ton of bang for your buck. Thy also carry tastykakes, chips, and bottled beverages, like soda and water. My hoagie was better than most. The lunchmeat was as fresh as lunchmeat comes (aka not oily and gross!), the toppings complimented the lunchmeat and cheese REALLY well, and roll was soft. It was good!! I just feel like I must have missed something. Is there a fancier Italian hoagie option? I didn't see one on their limited menu, and my hoagie didn't look like the picture posted on Google. Hm. So 4/5 stars. I'll give them a whirl again, and see if the second time is a charm. Next time, I'm going to try their cheesesteak. The steak looked and smelled amazing!

Love. It. Period. Cheesesteak are loaded with meat. You can make someone else a sandwich or make another later. Decent price. Be warned NO CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
